Dr. Queen attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in biology and chemistry. He attended the University of Manitoba and graduated with a doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.).
Following Dr. Queen’s graduation from the University of Manitoba, he practiced general dentistry in Winnipeg, Manitoba for two years. Thereafter, he attended the University of Manitoba, receiving a Master of Biological Science (M.S.C.) and a degree in orthodontics. Dr. Queen also taught at the University of Manitoba in the department of orthodontics following his graduation.
He then moved to Kamloops and established a practice in clinical orthodontics. At the same time, he successfully completed the exams required to become a member of the Royal College of Dentistry (M.R.C.D.(C)). Dr. Queen also belongs to the American Association of Orthodontics (A.A.O.) and
the Canadian Association of Orthodontics (C.A.O.).
